On February 18 and 19, 2023, the Ohio Squirrels Water Polo Club hosted 10 teams in Cincinnati for the 2023 Nutty Invitational. This is the 14th year they have hosted this tournament. It was a competitive field with teams from Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Chicago and Cincinnati. Final Results: 1. Ohio Squirrels Blue 2. Columbus Masters 3. 616 WPC 4. Case Western Thank you to all the players, fans, officials and pool staff for supporting such a wonderful event.

The club went to Ann Arbor this past weekend to take on 4 very good programs from Michigan and Chicago. This is a very well run invitational hosted by Ann Arbor Wolverine Masters that attracts many midwest clubs – masters and college club. The Squirrels have gone up a couple times before. Game 1 L 7-10 v. Wildcat (Chicago team) Game 2 L 8-11 v. Apostles (Chicago team) Game 3 W 14-5 v. Wolverine Blue Game 4 W 15-10 v. Michigan Alumni Thank you to Ann Arbor for being great hosts! Our next invitational is our own Nutty Invite held at the University of Cincinnati on February 18-19, 2023. More details to come. -OSWPC

Ohio Squirrels hosted the Sycamore High School Aviators and the University of Cincinnati this past weekend in a Mini Harvest Classic at the University of Cincinnati Keating Aquatic Center. The Squirrels went split squad and put up quite a competitive battle against the Aviators and the Bearcats. See results below. Thank you to both teams and all who attended! Good luck to both of the clubs as Sycamore heads into the Ohio High School State Championships and University of Cincinnati heads into the CWPA Great Lakes Championships.
